Third edition of the Hydrothermal Spa & Wellness Development Standards Book published [06.11.18]

The third edition of the Hydrothermal Spa & Wellness Development Standards Book has just been published. The handbook is a guideline for the design of spas and wellness oases in both the public and private domains. The publisher is the Global Wellness Institute, a non-profit organisation headed by Susie Ellis that lobbies for the interests of the spa industry.

Together with other notable companies from the spa industry, LUX ELEMENTS has been involved in the conception of the book since its first edition in 2014.
With its editorial contribution to the "Guide to Hydrothermal Spa Development Standards", LUX ELEMENTS is authorised to bear the logo "Hydrothermal Spa Standards Contributor".

The Guide to Hydrothermal Spa & Wellness Development Standards was developed for spa owners as well as for designers, architects and building owners. It is intended to help the readers understand this complex area and to accompany them during the construction of a hydrothermal area of any size.
All project phases are dealt with, from the planning through to the turnkey construction.
In addition to information about global terminologies and definitions, the book also delves into materials and recommended standards.

In the latest edition, which has been extended by 50 pages, we are responsible in our own chapter for the step-by-step storyboard showing the construction of a successful hydrothermal area.
